METAL ROOF PREPARATION
Preparation work for suitable metal roofs before protective coating across Tasmania.
PREPARATION BEFORE COATING
Areas of surface rust and unsuitable roof screws should not simply disappear beneath a new colour. Where appropriate, Heritage can include rust preparation, treatment and agreed re-screwing in the coating scope.
Our work is focused on preparing suitable existing roofs for cleaning, painting and protective coating. We do not present surface treatment as a substitute for structural repair, sheet replacement or leak diagnosis.
That distinction matters. It allows the customer to understand what the quote covers and whether another roofing trade is needed first.

PREPARATION FAQ
No. Some surface rust can be treated within a coating job, while advanced corrosion or damaged sheets may require roofing work first.
No. Sheet replacement and structural roofing repairs are outside the Heritage coating service.
Suitable tightening or replacement can be included where agreed and clearly shown in the quote.
Not necessarily. Leak diagnosis and plumbing or structural repair require the right licensed roofing trade. We do not promise that re-screwing will resolve an unrelated leak.
